I have a laptop that got a damaged display. I would have it repaired but that's even possible if I do. But I overclocked it because then I think the guarantee is no longer valid. But still it had no effect on my laptop. Will people notice when I get the laptop repaired under warranty?
Of course that is noticed, they are not stupid! The guarantee is gone!
I don't know what exactly overclocked means, but as long as it has nothing to do with screen damage, it doesn't affect the warranty in this case.
Difference between warranty and guarantee:
The guarantee is a voluntary service by the dealer or manufacturer. He can determine the rules for this himself.
Guarantee: Regulations according to §437ff BGB, always exists, even if it is e.g. In the terms and conditions is different
