Sims 4 mods folder not available, what to do?

I have played on my Mac Sims 4 for a long time now and have also downloaded cc etc., now I have a windows laptop and have downloaded originals and sims 4 too, but I'm now not shown any "mods" folder and have it too already looked in every subfolder, but can't find it anywhere. Can someone please help me and tell how I can download cc and mods now?
