I bought a notebook in the electronics store today. This notebook was an exhibit, so the charger was connected all the time. My question is whether this has any negative effects on the performance of the battery.
If the battery is constantly supplied with power, the battery time goes down rapidly so a battery that normally lasts 6 hours can only hold 30 minutes because it was constantly connected
A reasonable laptop has a charger that regulates it with charging. So that the battery is not constantly charged. My laptop has been hanging on the charger continuously for about 5 years with a few exceptions. The battery no longer has full capacity due to age, but you can still work with it.
