I bought a new headset (Beexcellent gm 1) and my laptop can't find the microphone.
The headset has only one aux output, my laptop has an aux input with a headset symbol.
The headphones are working and I have updated all drivers.
There's no driver for the headset itself. Since I can't find the device in the device manager, I can't set it as the default device.
As a recording device, I'm shown a microphone array and stereo mix… What is it?
Most likely, the aux input on your laptop will need a different plug than the one on your headset.
There are different connector designs here.
I just looked at the article description for the headset on Amazon.
The USB connection is only for the power supply of the LED lamps, the 3.5mm jack plug seems to be a combined plug for headphones and microphone, accordingly your laptop must also have a combined plug, otherwise it won't work. On the Amazon picture there was also an adapter, you could try it if your notebook has two separate connections for headphones and microphone.
My laptop has only one entrance.
With other devices, you only have to plug in one connector.
