Laptop Sims?

I'm looking for a laptop where I can easily play the Sims and it shouldn't necessarily cost more than 400 euro.

Does anyone know and can recommend? I don't really trust the sellers, who of course want to sell a more expensive model.

Qu

A tip for life: If you have helpful information, please also write it down ;-) This helps us tremendously to give you appropriate advice, because you don't mean "Sims" but "Sims 4".

How many add-ons do you plan to install? What is the laptop still used for? Why a laptop and not a PC?

th

Oops, sorry! Sure, Sims 4 of course (:

What are add-ons?

Unfortunately I have no space for a PC in my small apartment. I also want to be able to take the laptop with me to my friend.

Otherwise the laptop is not used for anything. Maybe to write something on Wordpad. But I think this is possible on any device

Qu

Add-ons are extensions, such as dogs and cats, island life, seasons, …

Times a laptop for discussion here. 400 euro is hard on the lower limit for laptops, even for games not as hungry for performance as Sims 4.

Aah ok, yes I have several additional packages to download.

Qu

Wait for other feedback. My variant is relatively powerful, but according to the reviews, the fan is a bit loud

This device is at the top of Amazon's recommendations, optically I think it's pretty! What do you think?

Lenovo (15.6 inch) HD Notebook (Intel Celeron 3867U Dual Core, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD, 500GB HDD, Intel HD 610, HDMI, Webcam, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, WLAN, Windows 10 Prof. 64 Bit) # 6189

Gu

No chance with the Celeron.

You want at least a Ryzen 2500U and Dual Channel RAM, but much more is not included for 400 euro, you shouldn't expect miracles in terms of screen, keyboard, battery or housing.

At best you buy a used one, for example I got an MSI with 7700HQ and GTX1050 for 400 euro, you can play on it quite well.

Ka

You can go to the shop there, firstly, they don't get any bonus or anything, and secondly something like Sims works almost everywhere anyway. You could take a look at an Acer swift 1, which is now not very powerful but of higher quality than such an HP plastic part and is around 400 to 500 euro

Qu

Great, I think the Lenovo you linked is the better choice due to the large SSD, also compared to my suggestion.

The HP Sims 4 with its add-ons probably does not fit the 128GB SSD and Sims 4 is a game that would benefit greatly from an SSD due to the extremely large number of small individual files.

Qu

As far as I know, there are so many configurations of the Acer Swift 1 that a specific model specification would certainly be helpful ;-)

Ka

This specific information is given by your asking price…

Qu

Okay, specifically. You get at least 17 (!) Different models of the Acer Swift 1: https://www.idealo.de/...?p=340-400 for 340-400 EUR

And in this selection alone, there are 3 different CPUs.

Intel Pentium N5000
Intel Pentium 4417U
AMD Athlon 300U

With 4 different iGPUs:

AMD Radeon RX Vega 3
Intel HD Graphics 400
Intel UHD Graphics 605
Intel UHD Graphics 620

Do you want to tell me that "AMD Radeon RX Vega 3" or "Intel HD Graphics 400" are sufficient for SIMS 4?

Ka

I just assume that she can still get advice in the shop, but read
