Learning tablet or laptop?

My daughter will have a birthday soon (turns 6 and will go to school this year) and she should get a learning tablet or laptop. I don't think the old laptops are up to date anymore. I do not want a device in itself that you should be on YouTube or can do other things, but really only to learn. She starts school soon and only learning certain things at the table is not fun in the long run. With such a device, it is simply more fun. So far, I have found the following devices: Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (I have the feeling that this is really a tablet, only a child's form and has less to do with the learning device) and https://www.vergleich.org/widget/redirect/?from=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bild.de%2Fvergleich%2Flerncomputer-test%2F&product_id=B0085IYPJG&store=amazon-de&type=detail&upid=B0085IYPJG (which seems to me no longer appropriate). However, I have no experience there.

I look forward to your answers.

I think paper and pens are still the best.

But if it has to be something contemporary I would take something stable, because things are not handled with care

Paper and pen do you a lot but it should be a support again, because it is simply more fun with something like that.

So personally I would recommend using a tablet, since these are better for teaching units than large laptops that take up the entire table. But I would not care what it will set up a safety lock and child lock because it will be misused for wrong purposes no matter how.

As a summary:

Handling: tablet

Stability: laptop

The fire tablets are great!
you can download / buy the kids app (free time unlimited). There are many games and learn apps there. You can set how long and how much the kids get tablet time. You can also start the Internet individually.
the advantage is that you can also switch to normal mode and have a normal, full-fledged tablet, so you can use it later.
