I have hinted in one of my last questions schonmal that I want to buy a laptop. But before I finally do that, I still have a doubt and I just want to build on your experience with it.
I plan to order a laptop online, but I'm thinking of having a technical device delivered online. You can hardly see if or how much is finally broken or not properly processed when you get the device delivered and I'm afraid that I could just get such a device without noticing it directly.
But I do not know how far my concerns are justified and whether I just follow the wrong prejudices for what that concerns.
Thus to my question: What experiences have you made with technical devices that you have ordered online (preferably via Amazon)? Were you worth your money or did you only have problems with it?
At Amazon, you're on the safe side. The prices are fair and the service excellent
I've been buying electronics almost exclusively for myself and my clients for almost 15 years online now. Exceptions are rare, as the price differences compared to the retail store are often very strong and daily fluctuations are not taken into account.
The cases in which a complaint or warranty / warranty claim were required, I can count on hundreds of orders on one hand. And even a purchase in the shop would have brought no other knowledge or experience.
I buy almost everything online.
From the thin 65 "OLED TV, over expensive cameras and lenses, notebooks and Co. Never before was something defective delivered and if it did, then it would have gone down, one should consciously look at the box and document external damage, then nothing should happen Things are all well packed and relatively shockproof.
I buy only with good offers in the shop, the "advice" is usually more than bad, that's not worth the extra cost. Feels like people often have less idea than the buyer who has read something on the Internet.
At Amazon, you have to pay attention to who is the contracting party (keyword: Marketplace).
Otherwise, I would not know any great disadvantages of buying online. Rather the opposite is the case.
Have already bought a few laptops at Amazon. Everything was always fine, never had a problem with it.
Should something be wrong, you can return it at any time and get your money back.
