It seems to me more and more these days that a PC / laptop is more for experts, while many actually only use the cell phone and sometimes no longer have any other device.
As someone who has spent his entire life dealing with PCs, the mobile phone seems to me to be very superficial, with very few direct possibilities to really dig deep into the operating system.
I think it's good that cell phones are available as mini computers, but I think that normal users are incapacitated and have a very superficial user interface.
You can do almost anything with a modern cell phone that a Windows PC can do, even the applications usually run on both devices
Most of them hardly need to surf a PC, etc., you can also very well with a cell phone, especially since laptops, etc. Are usually more expensive than a good cell phone
Nonsense, that can also be done with a cell phone.
It is not for nothing that new apps are made to suit companies and workers.
In addition, the cell phone is primarily there for communication or do you want to write WhatsApp with your laptop and make calls on the go.
I don't know, all of my friends have one - oh, we're gamers. But seriously. I hardly know anyone without a laptop or PC. At the high school, many take their notes on their laptops, that's pretty normal here and we live in the country, not even in a big city.
Cell phones are a great thing. But if I e.g. I would like to cut a film, edit an image in Photoshop or do a brochure design with Indesign, then I would rather open my 17 "Macbook Pro and switch on the external calibrated monitor. Emails of course also work on the tablet, preferably with an external Bluetooth Keyboard.
But mouse cinema unfortunately remains on a 6.5 inch display.
I have to say yes, as beautiful as technology is, but transcripts by "please insert electronic medium here" is not beneficial. In addition, in my opinion, it is simply not a good thing. At some point all technical devices fail or something else (purely theoretical scenario) and then nobody can write manually? Well, I don't want to experience that.
Then try to cut a film on your mobile phone somewhat professionally.
Although I could imagine that in the future it will go more and more towards "the cell phone is the PC". We will then have many OS-free devices and plug the cell phone into a station as it already works today and that is our complete computer.
Now it is necessary because the schools are longer and exams are written by hand. The fear will probably be now where many are completely dependent on the PC. I have to say I've never written as many emails as I do now.
In my opinion, the current situation is also an exception. It is understandable that everything or rather most of it now runs electronically.
For example, with an iPad
A pad is not a cell phone
