I need a good recording program for my laptop (it's from my father and is already 5 years old) so that I can make YouTube videos and a video cutting program should already be included, but very important it should cost nothing so even without premium or something. [+++ edited by support +++]
OBS
KdenLive
Youtube is already full of trash content. I hope you do something challenging, with level or something new.
Hit film express. But I really recommend you buy one. A cheap one would be e.g. "Vegas Movie Studio 15", the slightly stripped-down version of Magix Vegas. As far as I know, it costs around 40 euro. I ordered it from Amazon back then
Thanks, I'll have a look
I use OBS as a video recording program.

I use Audacity as an audio recording and editing program.

I use Shotcut as a video editing program.

Otherwise DaVinci Resolve is also good, but needs more power.

I actually only do gaming videos
Editing program: OBS
I agree with everything (even if I don't like DaVinci personally, since it is more like Hitfilm Express), but I would write that such an old notebook might manage small, fluid recordings with OBS (and also in itself).
"I hope you do something challenging, with a level or something new." - says "MrCommandBlock". : 'D Sorry, but found the name funny in the context. But agree with you.
As I said with level and claim.
Nobody cares about winning Fortnite.
My laptop is also a good 4 years old and with OBS I can record fluently.
But of course it depends on the performance of the laptop how well it works in the end.
I hate fortnite
The performance of the laptop and the games you record are clear. But 5 years tend to be a lot for a notebook, especially with poor cooling and / or dust.
My account is a bit older - unfortunately my real nickname "MineTec" was no longer available.
I have to say that command blocks give you the opportunity to get a little insight into programming. And I would rather see that as demanding… Many times better than the broad average.
One of, in my opinion, the most content-rich and best videos are from Ben Eater…
Nobody is interested in winning Minecraft either.
Jump and run is also worn out, etc. It's about the principle and not about game A or game B.
In addition, the video doesn't just live from the gameplay
I don't even play minecraft at all just among us video survivalcraft and recrew
Read my last comment again.
I agree with you on command blocks, but I can tell from experience that both creating a video that is good IN THE AREA and finding videos that are good are both difficult endeavors. I tried it too, but then gave up. ^^
And the linked video is definitely complex, yes. If you like that, check out Stuff Made Here, and maybe Mark Rober, DIY Perks, Michael Reeves.
I know that the gamepad doesn't just depend on the videos
I know all of them.
What I particularly like about Ben Eater is that he really goes down to the lowest level and simply builds a VGA graphics card from a few cables (or a complete 8-bit computer)
I also built a 16-bit computer in Minecraft once, YouTube doesn't have that much of that either…
but the ones you mentioned are all very cool
Then you shouldn't have any problems…
If you last a year, I'll give you a cookie.
I've been online for 3 years in 2017
And now you start looking for a recording program…
For a long time I didn't know how to record on the PC. I always used my mobile phone
Oh dear, I really notice quality content
