I released a folder on a PC that I access with a notebook.
If I set the PC to "save energy", I can't access the folder anymore. Is there possibly a possibility that the PC is in the "energy saving" mode and you can still access the folder?
I do not want to unnecessarily run the PC all the time when I'm actually working with the notebook
The hard drive has no power in Energy Saver mode. So no, do not go.
If necessary, you can wake up the computer via the LAN and then access the folders:

While the computer is in standby or power saving mode, you can't access the folders, but you can wake it up.
