Printer is not taking jobs out of the queue?

I have a problem with my printer. The printer itself is a bit older (Brother DCP-365CN) but works fine so far. However, there's now a problem that the printer is no longer accepting jobs from the queue.

The laptop also recognizes the printer and the printer also prints, only if you press print on the PC, the job appears briefly in the queue and then disappears about 5 seconds later without the printer printing.
