Can I buy a laptop with Linux Ubuntu and change directly to Win10 or are there any disadvantages to expect there are any difficulties vll?
The price difference makes me startled. Same model with Win 10 for 50 euro more.
Why Windows on a Linux machine… If you are not on Windoof try at least try 2 Wpchen Ubuntu probably you do not want then at least change wel…
There are problems with the change to 10 there's no I think it is usually a normal Labtop like everyone else
I go for the compatibility with all programs I use. I do not want to miss this.
I would install Windoof in a VM and run the W programs in it. Then you are you.U. Even better protected against viruses
Windows programs are not compatible under Linux and therefore unusable. But there are alternatives for Windows programs under Linux, e.g. LibreOffice, instead of Paintshop and Lightroom Gimp, instead of PDF eyepiece etc.
And modern Windows games do not run under Linux.
Yes, that is possible. Do you have a bootable medium for Win 10? Because making a Win 10 Boot Stick on Linux is not easy for a beginner.
Other partition or what does that mean?
Also for Photoshop and Sony Vegas (eg)?
Also for Photoshop - Gimp
VMWare or Virtualbox.
There's a real Windows in there (I have on my Mac). But if highspeed games run fast enough I can't tell you - I do not play.
So not either-or, but both at the same time (windows fullscreen or in extra windows). Even several times. But you need enough RAM.
Is actually in the comment, but I can't reintun pictures. This is what it looks like if you have a VM running Windows under Unix / Linux (I made the window small - of course, it also works bigger or full-screen). Both are running at the same time, and you can always put the windows environment in standby, or take a snapshot. Of course, keep several VMs or run at the same time (if the computer is fast enough, and has enough RAM). In the VM runs an original Windows, and there can of course all reinstall Windows programs.
Here VirtualBox under OSX, but also under Linux (VMware or VirtualBox):
Exciting, thanks! Will try it first time with Linux u possibly fall back on it
