My laptop itself works fine, but my Explorer takes forever to load. I look at this green bar bored and restarting doesn't help either. I've had this problem for weeks. Do any of you have a solution?
Are you talking about Windows File Explorer or the old browser called Internet Explorer?
I would run the CCleaner and delete all unnecessary files. I would also disconnect all storage media such as USB sticks
From File Explorer
Start Windows 10 Disk Cleanup and do a thorough cleaning.
Then start the command prompt as administrator and then enter this command: sfc / scannow This repairs Windows 10.
When that's done restart the laptop.
The problem you described with Windows Explorer occurs very often. Here are a few pages that describe a solution that are different but sometimes successful.

The cause here is a network connection that no longer exists:

Deactivation of the quick access

Here the index search is identified as a brake and it is recommended to deactivate it. Since the Windows search has always bothered me, I have found an excellent replacement in the Search Everything program, which is extremely fast and finds everything in a split second:

And another page that tries to solve the problem:

With such problems, I start the Task Manager and watch the processes. When I see that Explorer is very "busy", I close Explorer and restart it.
