Files on laptop gone?

Suddenly when I switched on my laptop and logged in, all files and documents were gone without installing an update or resetting the PC. Before 10min everything was normal and now something like that. I also restarted a few times but didn't help, what can I do?

You can't put it that way. There can be several causes for this problem. Here are a few questions to analyze the problem:

this is a company computer
Are you using a cloud (dropox…)
Are all files really gone or only certain
what kind of operating system do you have
