Are there still computers that are sold with Windows 95?

I got Harry Potter and the Stone of the White today. Unfortunately Windows 7 was too modern and a program that simulated Windows 95 was too risky for me because I had bad experiences with it (messed up my whole PC)

I was able to run the game on an older PC that still had Windows 95, but this belongs to my father and he wants it back after a week.

So I wanted to buy a laptop or PC with Windows 95, or can I download Windows 95 on an old laptop?

Yes, you can. You can get an Abandonware image for free on the Internet. If you had to burn to a data medium, here is the download link:

You should also get the game to run on Windows 7. To do this, you would have to activate the compatibility mode for the game. Google times after that. Gives umpteen instructions on the net.

Thanks but I have had bad experiences with something like this in the past and would rather be careful with it

Maybe this guide works

You will hardly get new goods.
And retro goods are expensive. You will definitely find it on eBay & Co.

Theretically, it should work on modern Windows systems. Finally it ran on Windows 2000.
In practice, this should not apply to the CD copy protection used.
This is the most common problem with games from this generation.

Thank you i will see it later

If you need the game or the file, just click and select: run "as windows 95/98". Then it starts in "compatibility mode" or as it is called.
