I want to install on a laptop Win7. There are several partitions available and some can't be deleted or reduced / combine etc. Because they are somehow protected as a manufacturer partition. I just want a partition, OS on it and the rest does not matter. How can I do that?
Only by starting your PC with an external, bootable medium (CD, USB stick) on which a partition program such as G_Parted or PartitionMagic is installed, and you prepare your partitions as desired before the actual installation.
But it also requires a lot of know-how! Because if you just delete your "recovery partition" or a partition with all your drivers, you might feel sorry for it later!
With the Win installation disk (DVD / USB stick) you can delete, partition and format all partitions. - Select Custom as installation type before.
The planned system partition does not require formatting. - This happens automatically with the Win installation.
