I have a new laptop and the wrong hard drive was selected during installation (there are 2, a SATA and an NVME). So I wanted to change that by creating a backup with Acronis True Image and then restoring it. I created such a boot stick and then booted it and ended up in the Acronis program, selected recovery and selected the right SSD. When the program was finished I'm now asked to insert a boot medium. I also get into the BIOS but there's no way to select the boot medium. Windows is still on the old SSD (at least 19GB is shown as occupied and it was a completely new installation). I would like to install Windows on the NVME SSD. But at the moment I would also be satisfied if everything just works again. I would also like to keep my license.
Maybe you can enable "CSM Compability"? Then put everything on legacy. Sometimes it helps.
No one that was not shown to me in the BIOS. Could it be that it has something to do with the TPM 2.0 chip?
