Battery performance is decreasing - although connected to the power supply?

The battery of my laptop is at 82% despite that my computer is connected to the power supply and the battery performance is steadily decreasing. I do not know why that is. Because the battery was always fully charged.

I have to emphasize that my laptop is always connected to the power supply and the battery is not removable.

what could it be? Is it possible that the battery is discharging? My computer is now over 1 year old, it can't be broken already, can it?

if I do not use the computer for a few hours, it is closed and is in sleep mode.

does someone have the problem too?

I would appreciate helpful answers

The fact that the laptop is always connected is the problem.

Batteries like it when they are frequently discharged and charged.

This results in a certain formatting of the same.

I just took the computer off the network where it could discharge and recharge it. It's not a removable battery.
