My parents gave me a Dell Vostro laptop because windows 7 no longer worked on it
I've tried a few things
-win 7 reinstall
-win10 install
-Linux distro etc
Following problem:
The laptop was made with Windows 7 but can't be started with it… After a windows 10 installation from the laptop, the windows logo with loading loop was all that could be seen
I have now made a Windows 10 instalation via another PC
Hard drive back into the pc (yes, I installed Windows on the SSD that I replaced) and the laptop says OS not found
I tried a lot of linux distros (x / l / ubuntu, voyager, zorin, debian, linux mint…) but I have to rely on windows because of my training.
I don't have the money to buy a new laptop
(Option 1 ebay is either too expensive or xp,
Option 2 calculator is impractical due to different points of view)
Hardware data:
Intel celeron (version unclear)
1gb ram
The used ssd works fine in other laptops
I can say one thing: Install Windows on another PC and then the hard drive in the other PC can't work because of the participations in the processor too.
