Where my screenshots are saved (PC, Windows)?

The file path or something. Somehow there's no folder where they are collected, as is the case on my laptop.

Do you use a program to create the screenshots? Snipping Tool, for example, would be one from Windows itself. You can choose the storage location for each screenshot.

Or did you just press the PRINT button? In that case, the screenshot is only saved on the clipboard. In an editor like Word (or even here at Girlfriend) you can then insert the screenshot with CTRL + V and then right-click → Save (as) to specify the file path where it should be saved.

Unfortunately, there's no general answer to this. Every game does it a little differently.

The pictures are often in their own directory in the installation directory of the games, but they can also be in your personal pictures or documents folder.

If you don't have a program for it, the screenshot is only in the RAM, i. H. You have to open an image editing program (Paint, Photoshop, Gimp, Affinty Photo, …) and paste it into a new file.

Alternatively, you can install a screenshot tool, e.g. B. Snipping Tool.

Games create an extra folder either in the game directory or iwo under their own files (or save the iwo in the Steam / Origins directory)

If you simply press the print button in Windows, it will only be saved in the clipboard. Ie you have e.g. Take paint and then save it with Save as iwo

Snipping Tool will more or less save it to the clipboard until you hit save.
It is similar with Greenshot.

In the clipboard, i.e. In the working memory. From there you can paste it with Ctrl + V in Paint or a similar program (in a new file)

Only the pushbutton - with my laptop, however, there was always a place where the screenshot went. Such a collection. I would like to have that on my pc too. Lg

Then you probably had a certain program on your laptop. Unfortunately, I can't say which it is, because there are so many programs that can do that.

I use the Lightshot program for this.

So far it is the best screenshot tool I know. Simply press the print button, use the mouse to select the area for the screenshot. Or the entire screen with SHIFT + Druck. This can then be saved directly.
The screenshot folder is then located under Documents \ Lightshot.

You can also print out the screenshot directly from there and even upload it if you want to share the screenshot.
You also have the option to edit the screenshot, e.g. With text, arrows, markings etc.
