Can you use the Msi Optix G241 144hz on a laptop?

I want to get the Msi Optix G241 FHD 144hz from Msi and connect it to my laptop. On the website of the product it was stated that the monitor can manage up to 144hz connected to 1920x1080p with Hdmi cable (the monitor has Hdmi 1.4b connection). Now my question: Can the monitor do this with my normal gaming laptop Hdmi connection?

But i don't understand My laptop has Hdmi 2.0 connection, a user wrote that they have included an Hdmi 2.0 cable so 144 hz should be in it

If the monitor only has a 1.4b connection, the maximum is only 120Hz.

Then the monitor must support HDMI 2.0. Then go also a maximum of 240Hz.
