I have the following problem: I can't install Sims 3 'correctly' anymore. I had to rebuild my laptop some time ago and so the Sims got lost that I was on it. Now I wanted to install it again. I have it installed normally and everything is fine. The code worked and I had the game back on my laptop.
Then I wanted to open it as normal, but it opened a small window and showed me a message: It says that 'the following Windows feature is required by an app on this PC. Then there's a code or whatever you may call it) and you have two selections available: 1) download the mentioned feature or 2) skip the installation (if I press on it, only the window closes and nothing happens) or I go to 'Cancel' and nothing happens.
Unfortunately, I do not know what to do, what kind of message and what I need it for. I have already searched the Internet, but have found nothing helpful. Maybe someone of you know about it or had the same problem and can help me;) I hope you answer me and I thank you in advance.
When I reinstalled Win 10, look here… http://techfrage.de/question/10610/win-10-net-framework-aktivieren-oder-deaktivieren/
then Sims 3 should start without problems… However, I start Sims 3 as an administrator. That funzt without problems.
Many Thanks! I have already tried this method, but it really did not work out. Would I have to download something?
