I previously had a Medion laptop on which I would almost certainly have bought a Microsoft version.
Since yesterday I have a Mac to which I wanted to transfer my Microsoft. Then I noticed that Word works on the old laptop, but when I change the license I get the error message that I don't have any.
So I bought Word for the Mac (didn't have to enter an email anywhere) and then I should log into my Microsoft account, when I did that the error message that I don't have a valid license came up again.
Can someone help me?
Does it depend on what you bought there, a full version?
For some you have to buy a license key or did you specify it during the installation?
So for the old laptop (I think) I bought a full version, but that doesn't really matter anymore.
For the Mac I bought "MS Office 2019 Home and Business for Mac / unlimited term". The email states that no product key is required because it is already integrated. During the installation I have to register the software with my personal details. (I mean that didn't come to me at all)
It is integrated, but you have to enter it during the installation. How else is microsoft supposed to know who has registered what?
