Laptop power supply takes forever to turn green why?

Hi, I recently got a new power supply for my laptop

The problem is that when I turn on the power adapter, it turns green after 1 hour and then only my laptop is charged why is it?

The power supply probably has too little power for your battery.

Or should I understand it so that it takes 1 hour until even electricity flows?

No, I mean it differently, it has 100 watts which is completely sufficient, but the power supply I think first electricity to get my laptop stream

And that takes a feel like an hour so if the power adapter does not light green then my laptop is not charged but when it starts to glow green, it works
