Would you write your journal using a touch keyboard or a normal keyboard and why?

Yesterday wrote five pages on my smartphone. Although I was able to write everything quickly, typing in itself was not much fun. Would it be more fun if that would be written on a normal keyboard? (Physical feedback when typing, also keyboard is larger and possibly more comfortable for the eyes?). What do you all mean?

Recommend you to buy a keyboard for my iPhone (for example, the K480 from Logitech). Unfortunately I can't buy a good laptop at the moment.

I would write it on the normal keyboard. It's faster, you have better feedback, so you write with fewer errors and the screen is not that close. That's my assessment.

Ky

I think everyone has a different opinion on what he likes better. Try it with paper.

Co

What exactly prevents you from entering the voice, instead of getting a cramp on such a small keyboard after 5 minutes?

Ka

Edit: Typing on the smartphone for long text * is not fun, because maybe the keyboard is somehow small or because of the lack of feedback from keys

Ka

So you think, keep typing on the smartphone would be better?

I do not get a cramp but as I said is small and the feedback is missing because there are no buttons

Ka

So I write faster on the smartphone but with the feedback you are definitely right

Ka

No, I do not want paperwork or notebooks. Have little room for it and would dispose of it on the next cleaning

ro

Voice input? On my iPhone, this works 1: 1 in normal speech speed

Co

I say use voice input and do not type at all. I have always done in the field and then sent me the text by mail. At the workplace, I simply copied it into the visit reports. Works fine, as long as you can express yourself reasonably.

Ka

Sorry I just read the word "input".

No Speech input is not much fun for me and it is annoying when mistakes occur from time to time.
