I would like to burn a CD with songs and I downloaded a software for that, with which I was really satisfied.
But recently my laptop no longer recognizes the medium when I insert the blank CD to burn "No medium". Even if I want to play an already burned CD, is not that possible?
Device Manager states that the drive is working properly.
Well if you insert a CD and this is not recognized (synonymous finished burned or bought) then your drive is defective. No matter what the device manager says.
The device manager recognizes only the device but not its function of the laser.
Buy a new burner, cost less than 10 euro for notebooks.
It may also be that the CD is broken or some scratches are present
Anyone who tries?

Have other CDs been tried?
