I want to get a laptop soon (more precisely: a lenovo chromebook). According to the seller, the device still has a guarantee, using the serial number I was able to check dad on the lenovo site. Now my question: if I buy this device and it breaks during the warranty period, the warranty then applies to a third party like me, or only to the original purchaser. And if it counts, where would you have to go to have the device repaired / checked?
This also applies to third parties. And that's usually done through the shop that sold it. You can also send it in directly, but that's the more inconvenient way for everyone involved.
