Laptop charging cable no longer fits completely into the hole and only charges when I push it in does anyone know why?

So it's been a couple of weeks now that my laptop is no longer charging properly. My charging cable no longer fits completely and only when I keep it pressed does someone know why? Btw I have a Lenovo laptop / charging cable and it only charges when I wobble around it, sometimes it charges when it is completely inside and somehow held or when I somehow put it halfway in but not always

The plug or the socket in the lappi is broken…
