How much money to spend on a PC?

I would like to buy a small PC, laptop or notebook.

Could you recommend something to me?

I don't really want to spend a lot of money on it, at most 500 euro.

Ob

What do you need it for?

I can always recommend the finished PCs from Hardwareat:

But unfortunately you do not write exactly what you want to expect from the 500 euro PC. Unfortunately, this can't be too much either, because a PC can't be that good for so little money. I don't expect really good gaming performance from it and for an office PC it would be almost too expensive for 500 euro.

For a gaming PC, I would not want to start at less than 700 euro. The main thing is that the part gets a dedicated graphics card and no iGPU.

It depends on what you want. Which areas of application, etc. For a pure SSD Office PC, 200-300 euro are sufficient. For gaming I always recommend 700 euro. This is a very good level in terms of price and performance and you will have peace of mind for the next few years without upgrades.

Could you recommend something to me?

Yes no In itself, however, as I said, what do you want it for. What are you going to do with it?

And finally, a little tip, you have chosen the worst time to buy a PC. Components are just so expensive, I can only recommend that you wait until all of this with Corona COVID19 is over.

I always recommend 700 euro for gaming

So I swear I edited my post before I saw yours.

Since I have a lot of manual skill
Do you think I could build one myself?
It can't be that difficult 😂

Ob

Then it would be around 500 euro for a laptop, I think, as the upper limit. Everything about it is unnecessary. That would be like having a sports car and driving voluntarily only on dirt roads.

Yes, I believe you all well

Hardly a laptop. A PC with security.
It's really not that difficult and the pins on the mainboard, or which housing plugs need to be in there, are very well described in the manual.

But even then 500 euro are still scarce for a gaming PC.

hi

This one:

However, select the SSD128GB on the right in the equipment list under "Hard disk". (The standard 500GB HDD is not fun.)

Then you are there with 282.80 euro. That is cheap.

Eg

For what?

Gaming? From 900 euro

Office? From 500 euro

Laptop somewhere

In fact, you don't even need manual skills. It is extremely easy. You just have to put everything together. With the CPU just do not press on it from above, only wiggle a little on the side, if it does not immediately fall into the socket and of course pay attention to orientation. With the graphics card and RAM, you have to be all the more careless and put a lot of pressure into it so that they are properly inserted.

You don't really need to know any more, it's best to watch a few videos from various YouTubers beforehand.

And as I said wait with the purchase. Soon the nvidia 3000 GPUs will be released. If that means the prices of the old ones will probably decrease.

You can easily find out which components you should buy here. Then give that, then the best way to help:

budget
For what?
Any extras? RGB or a certain housing / a lot of memory or only SSD or…

Other components? Monitor? Periphery? Etc. And the budget for that.

And I would advise against a laptop if you don't need it for school / work / university / … If you are only 80% at home, nothing else is worth it than a PC.
