HDMI on display port, how many Hz can you max. To reach?

My monitor supports 100 Hz with Displayport. But I only have an HDMI connection on my notebook.

My question would be: If I connect my notebook via HDMI to the display port cable, will I still reach 100 Hz?

Without knowing the specifications of your notebook, you can't say that…

Still, it's unlikely.

And even if you would still need an active HDMI to Displayport adapter:

And even then you have no guarantee that the adapter supports that.
