Moin Moin, I want to reset my laptop to its original settings, but now this message appears: "Problem with resetting to original settings." Anyone have any tips on what I can do?
Check if there are any new updates. This is usually the most common mistake. If that doesn't work, save your product key and format your hard drive and reinstall Windows.
The laptop is up to date. Now I don't know exactly how to proceed with the next step. Can you explain it in more detail?
Yes, do you have another PC?
You don't have to install any updates to reset and the product key doesn't need to be backed up either.
I'm aware of this. I made the suggestion that you reinstall Windows.
I have the same problem
There are no "Windows 10" original settings.
This is due to the various hardware that the system supports.
Otherwise: mchawks gfn phrase 15:
Reinstalling or "resetting the system" is not a reset or restart. This only destroys system logs that you could have used to analyze errors.
This eliminates no mistakes or speeds up ("detoxifies") the system.
It is not a DoItYourself solution for laypersons, but at best the last resort when professionals can't think of anything else. (And even then, professionals would reinstall Windows from an installation disc!)
If you only do a little research here, you will find that "resetting" causes many problems for many users.
So you can be happy if the function does not start at all. 😉
