I would like to buy a new laptop and am now comparing it.
What does e.g. Office365 software preinstalled? Is that already part of the laptop purchase? Usually you buy these office packages…
And why is that included in some models and not in others?

That the office package is already installed.
These are typically test versions or after a period of time X you have to pay for further use.
