I bought a MacBook Air 2020 from the media market on Wednesday and noticed on Thursday that the trackpad was making strange noises.
Now my question is whether I can simply exchange my laptop or whether they have to bring it in for repairs. It's less than 14 days!
I can't return it because I have (logically) already opened the goods.
You have a one year guarantee. If you contact Apple directly, they will fix the damage without incurring any costs.
Yes, I know that, but I would like to exchange the goods directly because I need my laptop for weeks: / Thanks anyway
If you are lucky, MM will be accommodating and give you a new device. Exchanges are always a goodwill gesture at local shops, as, in contrast to distance selling, there's no right of return
If the device only makes strange noises I would just wait the week and then take care of the repair when you have the time.
