I know it sounds silly, but I want to know if my MacBook Air 2019 breaks when I play Fortnite or Minecraft on it. It generally gets warm when surfing or chatting, but this is normal with such a small laptop. However, Minecraft is already very noisy and I wonder if Fortnite breaks. It gets very hot and the fan gets loud at Minecraft. Can I play games like Minecraft or Fortnite without breaking it? It was a gift and very expensive.

So it won't break because it has built in a temperature protection, it switches off if it overheats. But whether you can play Fortnite smoothly on a MacBook is the other question, they are actually meant to work

MacBooks are not exactly known for their great cooling. High temperatures (over 90c) could be harmful to your hardware. However, there are enough protective circuits.
But I would be more worried about my eyes, playing at five frames per second is not exhilarating.

Well the performance is actually okay! You have to keep in mind that the macbook is hotter on the outside than on the inside because of the aluminum case
