Hi
I have a small apartment and I try to furnish it in a minimalistic way. I'm looking for a table for everything, i.e. For eating, for small paperwork, sometimes putting my laptop and printer on it. I don't have a fixed PC. Can a normal dining table do that? Or is there any special furniture? Of course it should not serve as a coffee table, I already have it ;-)
This is easily possible, my table has to endure a lot, sometimes for eating, sometimes for writing and much more. He takes it peacefully! But if you do not have to connect the one to the other, ie do not eat and do other things at the same time, then it will soon be too full.
If you can't afford a second table due to the financial situation or the small space in the apartment, that's just the way. I only have one table in the apartment.
A dining table will be the best solution.
In this case you have to be a bit tidy and pay attention to hygiene. Not that the pages come out of the printer and then end up in the jam that landed on the table from breakfast earlier. Or disrupt the crumbs while writing. This just does a little more work.
All the best and have a good time!
Is this a normal dining table? Or what did you take there?
No financial problems, apartment is okay too. I just want to have less stuff around me ;-)
A completely normal dining table!
I can understand this well. As I said, it will probably be possible. You then have to pay attention to order and hygiene so that the table is not too dirty or too full of loud things. All the best and good luck!
The norm height for one
Office table is 72cm which I think is too low.
The dining table is 74 to 78 cm
A dining table is practical for a multifunctional solution. Depending on how many people are expected to eat, 160x90 is sufficient for 4 people.
Make sure you have good legroom (table without thick frame) and stable four-legged friends. As a seat (also for working) I find stools with a seat height of 50cm optimal.
For all the minimalism, I would like a (roll) container for the printer, paper and writing utensils. Printer on top and laptop in the drawer.
If you want, you can also store cutlery and dishes.
I would buy a classic table "without everything", so only 4 legs and a plate on top. I would also take on the roll container solution from nxtgeneration, with a earthy container that can be "moved out of the way" with the printer on top of it when the table is needed for eating (with guests).
You could also choose an even more minimalistic solution, Ikea Norden is just one example, there are similar models from other providers.
To save space, they are really great, you just have to be careful not to step off the "base" when sitting with several people…

The variant is even smaller (if you don't have more than one or two guests)
Thank you for your answer! Do you have any left or sample pictures?
Thank you! I'll take a look at it right away!
There are different types and motivations of minimalism:
thrift
Refusal to consume
Structure and order
Mobility / nomadism
Focus on essentials
Etc.
I would look at http://www.Ebay-kleinanzeigen.de regionally for 160x90 dining table or container.
Alternatively, solid wood panel 160x90 and 2x mounting brackets
Or a matter of taste:

I have never known the Lyrlody multifunctional part. Interesting at least and cheap 😀
