Should I go to class reunion or not (see D.)?

I was bullied at the time at the main school nasty (almost 15 years ago). I was always a bit more sensitive and then because of a physical impairment in class work a Nachteildausgleich that means that I was allowed to write the exams on the laptop. Despite explanations of the teachers with regard to a neurological disease, this would be construed as overreaching.

Due to the bullying a concentration on the school was not always possible, it was then after school only for a helper training in a sheltered workshop sufficient. At that time, a first class reunion took place where I was pretty much "demoted" and the saying came, "It was clear you would not get anything, you bottle."

In the meantime, I have massively caught up with education and passed with secondary school and high school graduation at the evening high school almost all the others.

Last week I found the invitation to the class reunion in the post office (amazing, since hardly anyone knows the address of the dormitory).

I think back and forth what I do.

My parents say I should go, I'm now superior in performance and education.

My neurologist, who has been looking after me since I started studying here in the city, advised me to leave it alone. Better to look forward is announced.

Somehow, I tend more to his view.

There were two good friends at the school. One does not come, the other one died in the spring from the consequences of a Timor disease.

What do you want there? People you do not like can rub your nose, hoping that something positive will come back instead of spiteful comments.

If none of your friends will be there, no one to look forward to, then you better leave it alone. The people you meet there should be the only reason to go there.

You know what you have achieved. You can be proud of your performance.

From your text comes out that you would rather not go. Therefore listen to yourself.

I admire yourselves, how you got up in spite of everything and now have all the possibilities open, to learn what interests you to be able to then practice the profession that makes you fun.

I congratulate you, because it was extremely strong of you.

However, I have only made it so far with the help of a neurologist / psychiatrist.
