Rode nt USB noise recording?

Maybe I would buy a Rode nt USB mini. If the microphone is 30 cm away from my loud laptop fans, will it be very audible? And would noise suppression severely limit the sound quality?

Hi, why this mic and what do you want to use it for? Presumably it is used in a normal living space that is not acoustically optimized?

Ka

Correctly

Of course it is noisy. This is a condenser microphone. Made to record fine noises! You can't put a microphone there at all, not even a dynamic one.

Why this mic

correctly

Hm. Doesn't get me any further.

Correct was based on normal living space. The podcast is not used for podcasts. More for streaming, for youtube and for gaming

Hello, then a dynamic microphone like the SM57 from Shure with a Steinberg your or Yamaha AG interface would be best, it picks up significantly less background noise!

The AKG D5 or P5 is also often recommended here, for smaller budgets, but they have a supercardioid or hypercardioid. Then you have to speak consistently from the beginning, preferably close so that you don't change positions.

And a distance of 30 cm, as mentioned here by EntertainmentNRW, is probably too close. You can try a dynamic one, with the kidney the back to the fan, depending on the volume it could work. If he turns it up, it's sure to be heard.

Maybe set it to extreme energy-saving settings so that the CPU stays cool.

I'm happy if I can help:-) Thanks for the rating.
