I bought an (empty) USB stick. When I plug it into the laptop, how do I get the pictures stored on my desktop on it?
(On the stick is only "Windows XP, VIsta, Windows 8. But I have Windows 10 - Does it still work?)
Open the file manager then click on USB stick push the window aside and simply drag the pictures into the previously opened window.
Hope you understand what I mean.
The USB stick should be recognized as 'hard drive'.
Open these as you also access the drive 'C', for example, and simply copy them with a right mouse button and paste them onto the corresponding pictures and the removable hard disk (USB stick) with the right mouse button.
Maybe the USB stick with a brand name oä called - you recognize it quickly, because it should be almost empty or appears automatically when plugged into the USB port.
You open the Windows Explorer (this is this "yellow folder" - often on the taskbar), you look for the USB stick out (is shown as a drive, see picture) and push the pictures into this drive.
If you want to have your USB stick neat, you can create folders in them and sort everything.
