If windows 10, go to explorer / this pc / right mouse button - "manage" / disk management. The hard drive should appear in black here. You can use it to create a new partition and give it a drive name!
No. As described. Search for Disk Management. That should work if you press the Windows key and then just enter Disk Management. Then "Create and format hard drive partitions" should appear… Click on it.
