I've had a problem with my laptop for a long time. I want to connect my headphones, but then it still plays the sound through the speakers of the laptop. In order for them to work I have to restart it every time and that is quite annoying… Has anyone there vlt. A solution? I'm using Windows 10, 64 bit.
I had the same problem with my headset microphone. It always takes the built-in mic from the laptop. I just plug the headphones out and back in and then my laptop recognizes that and changes the microphone automatically. Have you tried that before?
Go to the control panel and go to audio and see which channel is set. If the PC does not use the input you specify, it is always on via the loudspeaker.
Yes, if I just pull it out and put it back in again, nothing happens… So it is not recognized automatically… You should also say that if it works, it has the same output as the built-in speakers…
Yes, the same output can be seen here as the speakers from the laptop…
Then it had to change. ^^ (how exactly do I have ned more in my head had to do the long ned more)
Yes, I can only take the output from the speakers and the screen that is connected. But if the headphones work, they have the same output as the speakers… But why is that so I also wonder…
You have misunderstood that every output that is on the pc has its own assignment… And it just had to be set to the input you use
Go to the loudspeaker symbol from the system tray (where the start menu is) and then on mixer under the loudspeaker symbol there should be a small arrow going up there. Look whether you can select headphones.
