My laptop has 16 GB of RAM, but the task manager shows me that 50% of it is already used at 2 GB. According to my calculations, that makes 4. I have often had the problem that Firefox pulled 7GB and still 99% was occupied, although (according to the task manager) nothing else needed RAM. And yes, I know that some system processes need ram, but never, ever 8 GB
