So if after I have stopped the recording and saved it, it then also plays the audio back to me. I need this because I have an interview during an online lecture and I just can't take part there
I use Windows 10 on my laptop for info
But you can also suggest something for Android, since I also have an Android tablet
Open Broadcaster Software
For Windows 10 or Android?
Windows
OBS is intended for Windows PCs. Just download, watch a tutorial and then record. Either records selected windows or the entire desktop. Audio recording can also be set. I don't think that's allowed, but that's your business.
With android, you can't record audio that easily
What can you adjust to it, a question out of curiosity
I'm just uploading it to Obsproject. Com down. Alright, right?
Yes
How do I set this up this is damn complicated
Look at yt for videos about it, to write that here now would be a bit much. Simply put, you have to choose a path where the recording will be saved, set a bit rate and other quality settings that are suitable for your pc, add audio devices and add a source (which screen is recorded).
You can change the input source for your video (adapt to the window) as well as the input audio sources. You can adjust the volume as you like.
So I watched a tutorial, stopped the things and started a zoom conference between my laptop and my tablet as a test and put them both in separate rooms so that there was no noise. I was the host of the session at the tablet, because I want to record the lecture tomorrow with the laptop. I then just spoke into my tablet to test it and the voice was received by the laptop, so then I saved the obs recording on the laptop and, strangely, when playing the file I don't hear anything, so you don't hear anything after you've saved it
Have you set the correct audio sources? 90% of all streamers and youtubers use the program, if you set it up correctly you can do almost anything with it. You have to set your speaker output in "audio" under "devices" under "desktop audio", maybe try with "standard" first
Is already on standard
Then try the other options
But desktop audio 2 is disabled. What is meant by that? Desktop Audio 2
You don't need that, this is for when you want to record multiple audio sources
No matter I give up, a bit complicated 😁 Missing a lecture is not so the world now. The scripts are put online anyway
