After switching from the hard drive to the Toshiba laptop error message?

Moin Moin I wanted to upgrade my old lappi by replacing the HDD with an SSD. I then copied the HDD to the SSD, removed the HDD and plugged in the SSD. When I restarted the laptop I got the error message media Test failure Check cable.
