Me and my dad have opened my old laptop to swap the hard drive in there with an SSD. But when we installed the SSD and wanted to boot up as a test, the thing did not start up. We looked and the contacts for the boot button are broken! Are there any other ways to get this thing started?
Do you have the operating system installed on the new hard disk, or transfer the old disk to the SSD with a special clone program like Acronis True Image? Or just installed the SSD?
When changing the HDD / SSD, the inclusion button can't break.
Unless you go by force and amateurish.
Unfortunately, your description is too superficial to interpret anything else from it.
What exactly should it be broken because it is only a button you can now only see if it is only a kontackt problem what you can solder otherwise I see there black this manufacturer is certainly not individually sell a leptop can only with the button start
