My parents think I broke my smartphone?

I'm currently writing the comment from the laptop. My cell phone has had battery problems in the past few days and would become extremely why for no reason. I was not on any website where you can get viruses. My cell phone has not been on since then, now my parents both think that I have deliberately broken my cell phone so that they buy me one. I have been talking unfavorably about other smartphones in the past few days because I wanted to buy one in half a year.
