I bought an Intenso portable SSD with 128GB about 3 months ago.
When I plug it into my notebook (USB 3.0) it is displayed as a portable drive (G. I used to give an icon to the hard drive (when it was still working) with an autorun.inf. This is now no longer displayed. If I do something with the hard disk (open, property etc.) the Explorer hangs up. It is also displayed in the Device Manager. If you do anything there the mmc hangs.
Once I got a blue screen, the driver (C: \ Windows \ System32 \ DRIVERS \ disk.sys) crashed.
Your PC recognizes the hard drive but you can't access it because the associated driver is defective or not up to date.
Solution: uninstall the device in the device manager (please pull out beforehand) and then reconnect then the driver would have to be reinstalled. If that doesn't work, you have to download and install the driver from the device on the Internet because the driver on the hard drive seems to be defective.
