I wrote an important longer text on my laptop, did not save it and the laptop was closed. When I opened it, there was unfortunately a loose connection and the screen went black. So I had to turn it off. Now back in and I wanted to continue writing… But it's gone. I can't restore it normally, maybe because I saved something there yesterday, it has the status, but not today… I need it. Urgently. Can you do something?
Normally it should still be there unless you have closed Word and clicked not save
I didn't, but wasn't there either.
If you have a newer Word, click on File → Open → Recently Used and then at the bottom click Restore Unsaved Documents. This opens the folder
C: \ Users \ yourusername \ AppData \ Local \ Microsoft \ Office \ UnsavedFiles
There you will find automatically saved files as .asd files. Click on the corresponding file and open it. Then you can save it.
Hoped to open an older storage, thought vlt it is.
Unfortunately only opens one and it is unfortunately not. This is just a blank page.
Also a powerpoint created by my sister is gone. Not even under asd
Then it looks bad, because then your document has not yet been saved by automatic saving, or you did not activate automatic saving. If you never saved the file, it will be difficult.
The data has already been saved but not new so I have text that I wrote yesterday but no longer today
