I have a question about the connection between laptop and TV!
I have an HDMI connection with both, which transmits video and audio data. If I connect both with a cable, I can transfer the screen from the laptop to the TV as desired. I would now like to get some tips!
I use the laptop with the connection to the TV mainly for streaming films, whereby I play the films on the laptop and display them on the TV. I have a Netflix account through which this runs.
Now this approach does not seem so effective to me and I have looked for other options. I would rather not buy a Smart TV! Does anyone have another idea for streaming films on their own TV without a laptop / PC connected? As far as I know, there are such sticks (Amazon Fire TV Stick). Do they allow me to stream films without an extra PC only through my laptop account? Feel free to send me your ideas on how you would proceed. Would hate to burn my laptop for this purpose!
Most BluRay players also offer this (even several services such as Netflix, Prime and the vulture knows everything). There are of course no limits in terms of price, but almost everyone offers such great services as Netflix.
Connecting the laptop via HDMI is basically a good solution. I do it either via laptop or PS4 because I don't have a Smart TV at the moment.
Yes there's the possibility e.g. To access certain streaming platforms via Google Chromecast or the Amazon Fire TV Stick. This works well with Amazon and Netflix.
Unfortunately, I haven't tested this for more specific requests such as AoD or Wakanim.
