I have a problem,
Since the normal keyboard on my laptop does not work anymore I had to get an external keyboard. Said and done. The problem is I can use the Tastator only when the operating system is started up. I can't operate the GNUB and also do not go into the BIOS. Is there a way to open the BIOS in Linux or start Windows from Linux?
From the OS one does not get into the BIOS, neither from Windoof nor from Linux.
However, I find it very strange that the BIOS does not recognize a connected keyboard.
Do you have maybe another USB port?
I've tried every USB port now. My keyboard gets power but does not transfer data
Then another keyboard.
And what about this:
What should be with it?
Try it!
I just changed the boot order now. Now come to the bios. Nevertheless, thanks to all the answers
If the computer has a keyboard port for PS / 2, then you come only with a PS / 2 keyboard in the BIOS. There are USB ports for this PS / 2 adapter.
