After I changed my battery, I wonder how to proceed now; he was very slow before (it is still) so I want to know how to reduce the load (best step to step).
You can conditionally reduce stress by removing everything unnecessary in the autostart, deleting superfluous programs.
If you have an old carrot, the modern programs are simply overwhelmed. This does not change the cleanup either.
Is not that old, but what is the heaviest?
Do you have beside the indication of the manufacturer of your notebook times the complete model designation of your notebook, or a link to exactly your model?
For what tasks or activities do you use your notebook, and in which areas do you see the load (still) too high, or where does it hapert (currently) to performance?
Everything you need for resources that your laptop does not have.
I have a lot of gaming launcher and probably junk too. Is a Toshiba Satellite C55-C-1lv
Every process is very slow
Does the existing hardware in your book match the contents of this data sheet:

If so, it is not suitable as a gaming book despite a Nvidia Geforce GT 920m.
More extensive multithreading is suboptimal with the Core i5 - 6005u with its 2 cores / 4 threads.
In terms of loading agility and application response times, the rather slow HDD technology is a negative factor, and it also consumes more and more valuable CPU resources in data transfers versus an SSD solution.
In addition to significantly slower transfer rates and significantly higher access times, HDDs can only read or write what an SSD can do at the same time, and possibly even multiple threads for multiple threads.
If the hardware is not absolute cheese is enough already the change from an HDD to an SSD. Which processor do you have? And how much RAM?
Intel Core I3, 8GB RAM
The data are the same, but I did not want to use it any more (intensively) anyway, and at some point give it to a non-gamer.
Presented… I like to take it.
But this violates the local forum rules as an offer.
Maybe you can make the book in your home environment so any needy person a gift. ☺
Since I've used CC Clean he's getting faster again
Get a SSD with 512 GB nominal capacity, re-install Windows and install your most important applications then completely fresh and new after previous backup in their own folders on the previous SSD.
Your previous SATA - HDD you can then continue to use with a few components via USB 2.0 or 3.0 on your book externally. 😉
A Core i3-6005u is still ideally suited for Office and WEB.
Sorry, but I already have someone
It's not about me at all… ☺
I save on a book with AMD Ryzen 2300u or 2500u, since I still have plenty of old games to lie.
Since I have to make sure that the graphics performance is at least my AMD Radeon HD 3850 in my old PC. 😉
(especially since I played the existing games on the old PC in 800 x 600 to 1024 × 768)
Which i3? XD, but for a faster laptop you should replace the HDD with an SSD. The boot time should improve from Windows by at least three times. In games like RUST or ARK, the game loads much faster. But you do not get more computing power… The programs start faster. If you do some image editing with it will be a bit faster.
